1546 East New York Avenue
In collaboration with Family Services Network of New York, Inc., a 501(c)3 health services provider, Xenolith Partners is developing 95 units of supportive and affordable housing at 1546 East New York Avenue in Brooklyn, NY, in addition to a 5,000 SF ground-floor community facility space that will be operated by FSNNY to offer health services to the public.
Of the total units, 60% will be supportive with wrap-around services provided by FSNNY for those with Severe Mental Illness (SMI), Substance Use Disorder (SUD), and HIV/AIDS. The balance of the units will be set aside for households earning 40-60% of the area median income (AMI).
All residents will have access to a fitness room, community room with an outdoor terrace, Energy Star appliances, laundry facilities and a bike room.
The project will be funded with a combination of HCR 9% LIHTC, HCR Supportive Housing Opportunity Program (SHOP) funds, HPD Supportive Housing Loan Program (SHLP) funds, Reso A funds, and private debt.
